Ladle Shroud
Ladle Shroud, also named as ceramic pipe, is used as a connection pipe between Ladle and Tundish. In order to keep the molten liquid from being oxidized and splattered when it flows from Ladle to Tundish, it is needed to be installed underneath the Ladle.
We also carry out Total Tundish Management (TTM) it is required to supply all the items involved in a Tundish, including technical services and applications at site.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
o Isostatically pressed materials
o Materials with high thermal shock resistance to allow cold start and safe reuse after long Tundish Drains / Long Ladle Exchanges.
o Optimized materials selected for the Steel Grades being cast and targeted casting times
o Various argon inerting strategies to minimize air ingress at the junction between Ladle Shroud and Collector Nozzle.
